We are thrilled to share our passion for electric vehicles & sustainable motorsport. Our Spec Tesla Model 3 Race Car is a lightweight, balanced, and beautiful, safe driving experience. We can make your ride-along experience feel like a symphonic orchestra, or energy-drink fueled roller coaster, whatever you prefer.
Founded in 2020 by Drew Cleaver
In the summer of 2019, Drew’s friend encouraged him to try a Tesla Model 3 Performance during Tesla’s promotional offer of 7-days and 1,000 miles to return the car for a full refund if not satisfied.
Immediately after taking delivery, Drew took his 2019 showroom stock Performance Model 3 AWD to the historic Hallett Motor Racing Circuit.
Drew immediately saw the performance potential in Teslas. But, more important was the long-term cost and reliability of electric vehicle ownership, which extrapolates tremendously into making a cost-effective, sustainable motorsport operation and eco-tourism business possible.
Drew Cleaver formally launched Spec Tesla Racing LLC in the Summer of 2020, competing in Gridlife Time Attack. It now includes lifelong racer & world-class skydiver Collin Robb as our prospecting Director of Driver Development for our future customer racing operation, along with our friend, former Red Bull Racing Junior & NASCAR Xfinity driver Matt Jaskol, as Director of Commercial Partnerships.
In 2023, Spec Tesla will move into our new construction shop in a new commercial motorsport development complex, Garages of the Americas, across from Circuit of the Americas.
Spec Tesla also has a Tesla Semi reservation anticipating an early 2023 delivery to use for motorsport operations but also aiming to offer Semi ride-alongs and test drives for a truly unique experience.

Spec Tesla aims to offer Austin’s #1 Eco-Tourism and Motorsport attraction pairing professional logistics & hospitality management with decades of motorsport experience at the United State’s premier Formula 1 Grand Prix facility, Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
We support Tesla’s mission of accelerating the adoption of sustainable energy and automation into homes and lives by converting non-owner guests & skeptics into placing new Tesla orders through our experiential events and services.
By showcasing Tesla’s performance, economic, reliability, and sustainability potential, we will prove why becoming a retail stockholder and vehicle owner as soon as possible is a valuable idea.
Beginning with our Tesla performance shop space in 2023, we will offer owners vehicle upgrades, track preparation services, and our tourist experiences utilizing our fleet of race cars.
By 2024 we will be launching a fully supported professional Arrive & Drive wheel-to-wheel customer racing sprint series at select premier events across North America in identically prepared Tesla Model 3s.
